Help with keyboard issue on asus v551L 15" laptop

Hi, I have an Asus 15" laptop model # v551La dh517, 3 keyboard keys suddenly went dead. I would first like to check the connection to the motherboard but can find very little info on that model. The computer has already astonished/annoyed me when a charging problem arose and I realized the whole back had to be removed to get at the battery. I'd rather not have to remove the motherboard to check the keyboard plug so is there anyone familiar with this or a similar model that can give me an idea how to access the keyboard plug?

While this isn't your exact model, it is probably the closest you will get to knowing where/how to get access. It seems that it isn't through the back either.
