Help with my Sony Blue-Ray sound system

I have a Samsung smart TV connected to my Sony BlueRay sound system, I connected the audio using HDMI cable, but every time I turn of my Sony sound system and on, it goes back to the TV function. I have to manually go back to audio going through BT, FM, DVD function so I can hear the sound out. Does anyone know how I can set it so I can permanently be on audio function without having to change it.

Try turning off CEC (or AnyNet+ as Samsung calls it) off in the TV menu. If that doesn't help you may be able to assign HDMI-ARC to the TV input on the Sony so it defaults to the TV audio. If there is an input set up menu that would be where you might be able to do this.
