Hello Everyone.
I have problem with my 5.1 surround system. One jack (FR) is broken and now i cant use my 5.1 system. The "not working jack" will be fixed in next few days.
I have question now and i will provide details bellow first.

MOBO: Gigabyte Z77X-D3H rev. 1.1
Soundcard: Integrated

1. VIA VT2021 codec
2. High Definition Audio
3. 2/4/5.1/7.1-channel Supported
4. Support for S/PDIF Out

Basically what i want to:
I want to connect my 5.1 surround to PC via Output cables (one we use to connect with DVD).
Is there any cables that can convert standard RCA cable to AUX so i can put them in my sound card? Basically all speakers to go in sound card on PC.

This is how jacks looks on my Surround

I want to connect all red and white connectors with PC.

I really don't know nothing about audio things so please do not be angry on me if this is stupid question.

If this what i asked cant work, is there any other way so i can use all 5 speakers but from output jacks (red and white)? Only those working.

Best Regards

a 3.5mm to rca cable. they are quite common and rather cheap.

you have two options.

-you can buy one long 3.5mm to rca cable
-you could buy a short 3.5mm male to rca female adapter cable and use a standard red+white rca cable male to male set with it.

both accomplish the same thing.

how to connect to soundcard?

green- front left & right
orange- center & subwoofer
black- rear left & right

run windows audio test to verify things are hooked up right. if you swapped the channels accidentally just flip flop the wires. on the 3.5mm adapter cable rca side to the other speaker input.
