help with surround sound

I have a panasonic surround sound system sc-pt750 and bought a new TV Sharp LC-50LB261U and need help connecting it I cannot get the sound to work with this TV

Your TV has an analog audio output (either 2 RCA jacks or a stereo mini jack and your sound system has an aux input with 2 RCA jacks so if you have the correct cable you should just have to select the aux input on Panasonic. Usually the volume control of the TV is still working with this connection so you have to use both volume controls so set the sound system where the volume is about right for the disc player and bring the volume up on the TV. You will want to turn the internal TV speakers off in the audio menu of the TV.
