help woth buying a new pair of headphones for daily use

im in the market for a new pair of headphones to use mainly for daily use when im on the go to going to college my budget is around 100 U.S Dollars . the only pair so far i have found are the
Panasonic SHP9500 but people say they are open back ( i am not really informed on the difference between open and closed headphones) and the ear cups tend to get pretty sweaty from what i have seen form reviews ( i tend to sweat a bit ) and they aren't removable .

can some one recommend others that are around that price point i dont want to spend alot i just need a decent pair of head phones to use through out the day

HyperX Cloud II, there extremely comfortable from my experience and the simulated 7.1 surround sounded pretty good (BF4).

They're great gaming headsets, I have one myself, but if he isn't going to be gaming there is no point. It's a USB headset so unless you plan on only using your laptop for music then it's a no go. However, If you are a gamer, then the Cloud 1's would be a good option as the use 3.5mm connection. But again, if you are not a gamer than stray away from this option.

I have set of Ath-m50 (the original not the x)headphones that lasted through college and still work great today (about 10 yrs) with heavy abusive use. I think they are great.
