Hi I'm looking for a laptop under or around $1000. I will mostly be using this laptop as a desktop replacement. I play World of Warcraft, Minecraft, and maybe others. I will also use it for projects and assignments.

Preferred Specs:
-Intel i7 processor
-Nvidia Graphics Card
-750 or more gigs of memory
-14-16 inch
-Glossy Black Exterior (Not Important)
-Good battery life
-4 to 6 gigs of RAM
-HD LED screen
-2 mega pixel webcam
-Bluetooth Capability
-Blu-Ray (Not Important)
-under 7 lbs.

Price difference is about $170
CPU & GPU are the same, RAM and HDD the same. Both have a 2yr warranty.
Asus has Blu-Ray drive included, plus a 1920x1080 LCD screen. It also has a 1yr accidental damage warranty which is nice.

If you don't mind the price I like the Asus option better. You're actually buying from Buy.com through BestBuy so check Buy.com directly, in case the price is different.

I like the ASUS N53SV-DH72 even better when it's $60 more off.
Be sure to check the final cost, to include any shipping and taxes.

by the way, how long do you think the asus will last. Do you think i would have to replace it sooon as in 2-4 years, or will it last?

Four years easy, even more if you don't need extra CPU/GPU power for some future programs or games.
