I was given a S3 that had water damage. To my amazement I find it still works. The LED lights, the sound, and because of the sound I know that the touch screen actually responds. But what's weird is the touch screen responds, but yet there is no visual. Just BLACK. This to me rules out the motherboard and tells me I need a new LCD. Do you guys agree?

Usually the screen but the LED driver chip could be burnt out too. Hard to tell and one of those things you need a new working screen to test to know if you need a new screen.
