Hi All, I have a Sony Vaio VPCEH laptop, power issues

Hi All,

I have a Sony Vaio VPCEH laptop, now i first got the laptop, i powered it on and it turned off almost immediatly, i have removed the battery and it stayed on, so i upgraded the hdd to an ssd, and installed windows all great, updated windows, and 3rd party software,

come to it next day, it boots up and then appears to suffer from the same issue as when the battery was in,

now i saw someone saying try to get into bios, i thought meh its trying to post, ill give it a go, so i hits the f2 like a mad man and it appears to turn on, i stop pressing f2 it turns off like 2-3 seconds later.

i have now removed the keyboard and it stays on, now my question is, what is the likeley hood of it still being the laptop at fault and not the keyboard, i don't want to buy a new keyboard and it still be the laptop.

Without trying a new keyboard you will still be wondering what the issue is. If it works without the keyboard, test with another keyboard first.
