Hi, I put a replacement screen into my Packard Bell Eastcote TE. Now the machine is completely dead. I unplugged the new screen and the machine switch on. I plugged the screen back in and laptop went dead. Now I have to unplug the screen cable from the mother board for the laptop to switch on.

Hi, maybe the new screen is not compatible with your laptop? What is the number of the old and the new screen? What is the full model number of your laptop? Without all this information, I can't help you.

The laptop is a Packard Bell Easynote TE. the old screen model no: B 156XW02. The new screen 156-40WLED.
