Hi, I recently bought an Asus ROG G750JX. Have some questions about putting in an SSD

Hi, I recently bought an Asus ROG G750JX-TB71 and i'm planning on popping in an 840 Pro SSD in the other free empty drive space. I'm wondering if the accessories I need to mount and install it are included with the laptop or if i need to make separate purchases.

Another thing is if the laptop includes an installation disk of windows 8 i can use to install it in the SSD once i pop it in?

for the ssd most newer ones come with drive clone software. clone the hard drive over to the new ssd. most laptops now have a restore partion on them..you may be able with a few dvd make a set of restore disk for the laptop.

Do you have any idea if the 840 Pro 256GB has an drive clone software?

does that void the warranty? if so remember to let the authorised people to do it so that warranty still maintained

some of there drive kits come with the software and cables needed.

hmm, i see. Does anyone know if the laptop provides mounting brackets for the ssd? The laptop has an extra space where i can put in an extra hard drive or ssd.
