High-end Mic Pre for Low End Mixer

I was wondering what it would be like if I ran all of my synths into an A&H
and bus it into an high-end API or something to save cost. Will this sound
better or beef-up my synths?

In others words, if I had only only one high-end API mic pre and bus it or
insert it on something like a MixWizard, will the sounds from the Mixwizard
be much better? I am just curious because I can same money since I have 4
synth other effects units too.

Are you presntly unhappy with the sounds of your synths? What happens to
those sounds after they leave the A&H? Is this for live onstage work, or
for recording?

Generally it's what's first in line that offers fruitful sonic
manipulation. If you want to tickle your ears you might like a pair of
Evil Twin DI's, which apparently have some kind of simple magic
installed by the builder, Bruce Seifert of Eclair Engineering. Evil
twins are not cheap, but I can't say enough good things about them. Mine
makes me taller, stronger, able to eat large dinners in a single
sitting, and so forth. They're the real skinny for real fat.
