Solved! Highest Performance 11in or 10in notebook

Hey all, I'm looking to replace my first gen atom based hp mini for a new hopefully slightly larger notebook. I'm looking for something in the 10 or 11 in range that has at least 5 hours of battery life and is under $1000. I'm all ears folks, let me know if you have any ideas.

Although it isn't super powerful, you should also check out the Dell Inspiron Duo. You can work in tablet, PC, or dock mode and it has a 1.5 GHz N550 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 320 GB of hard drive space.

Hi there,

The Acer is a good choice, but it is bigger than the 10 or 11 inches you requested. The Acer is a laptop, rather than a netbook. If you don't mind that the screen is larger than 13", it is a great choice. The specs are better than those of a netbook.
