Hisense tv software

I have just bought a new 2017 Hisense Tv model N6600
I am trying to put Kodi on it
I know the software is Linux based by a company called Frog
But what version of Linux is it As there are a lot of versions
And I do not know Linux at all

It's just a guess but I suspect that the TV isn't set up for you treat it like a PC. Manufacturers don't want you messing with their TVs.
