Hitachi light flashes on and off

My Hitachi TV light flashes off and on, when it's unplugged and turned back on it stays on for half a second and then blinks again. Any help??

Check the troubleshooting section of your User Guide/Manual.

If you do not have the manual go online to Hitachi and see if you can find the manual.

The flashing may be some special pattern that identifies an error or problem with the TV.

Failing that, watch the pattern, and then contact Hitachi.
