hln4365w + xbox

Can anyone comment on the quality of picture one would expect from an xbox
connected to a hln4365w by Samsung? It is connected using the Microsoft HD
cables but most games appear to have excessive jagged edges. I expected the
quality to be somewhat better than my "standard tv". Don't get me wrong it
is sharper but it is too sharp and jagged now.

did you change the settings on your xbox to tell it you are using the hd
cables and set the output resolution your tv can handle? Also, look at the
xbox games themselves, on the back of the cases it states whether they are
capable of being viewed at high resolutions or not and usually state what
resolution (480i, 720p, 1080i for example). However, from my experience
with xbox and hd cables on a sony HD tv I still have jagged lines, but the
quality of the image is noticably different.

yeah, I had checked all that stuff and swapped out the MS Cables for the
Monster cables. I can honestly say that the Monster cables were not worth
it!!!!! Thats said, I did rent "Enter the Martix" and all I can say is wow.
I guess the 420P games are a little jaggy for me but 1080i just looks
awesome. Again, the picture was crisper on the 420p games but proably a
little too crisp for me. Jaggy but better than regular tv.
