Hook up DVD to Roku Smart TV

I have an older Sony DVD/VHS player and would like to hook it up to my new Roku Smart TV. What do I need to do that?

Model numbers would be helpful.
In general you will have RCA jack AV outputs on the DVD/VHS (composite video (yellow) and audio (red & white)).
Your TV should have a composite video input. It is often combined with a component video input. You would have to go into the TV menu and select composite. The manual should tell you where to connect the cable and which menu you need to access.
