How can I connect my ReSound TV streamer 2 to the optical digital audio out on my LG tv if it is already going to a soundbar (

I would like to use the ReSound streamer with my hearing aids, but still want the soundbar so my husband can hear the tv. Someone a Best Buy told me I was out of luck, there is only one optical output. That doesn't seem right- I can't imagine that you can't buy a splitter of some sort.

One is a splitter, one is a switch, they work differently, so you can decide (after research) exactly which one applies to your specific needs. I'm thinking the splitter (1x source, 3x end units) would be the best fit rather than the switch (3x sources, 1x end unit)

Well not to defend the idiot salesperson at BB, but technically he was correct, operating under the assumption that the equipment you have is all you have. The additional splitter/switch changes things as you'll see that some optical ports are opt.out, and some opt.in.
