How can I get the sound from my dell pc to come through my new Proscan tv?

In tv mode, the sound is fine, but in pc mode...there is no sound. I have them both connected through an hdmi cable and both through a vga cable. Do I need another cable to get the pc sound to come through the tv speakers? I have no external pc speakers.

Or you can of course get speakers.

If your PC has HDMI, it should output sound through it. Ditch the VGA.
