how can i reset dvd playerto factory settings without remote

how can i reset dvd player to factory settings without remote control. I can hear the dvd but strange picture flashing across screen

All depends on the model, check the manual. Did you make sure it's not the TV or the cable already?

No I changed something in settings and it never worked since. it is a nordmende Nm80hddr. The remote I have is not the correct remote for it so it does very little. Just plugged dvd into another tv same result. No Manual. Thanks

Contact the maker for a copy of the manual if you need to or just contact their support and ask how to reset it. There may not be a way to reset it without going through the remote or the onscreen menus.

You don't see any push pin holes or anything similar on the thing?
