How do I add and activate my adapter on my Comcast account?

I bought two new XFINITY digital adapters on e-bay. How do I add them to my account and activate them? I tried calling XFINITY but they were no help.

only Comcast can activate them to your account, why can't they help? try calling them to get to a different agent.
