How do I connect a Samsung Smart HDTV model UN40H5203 to a Yamaha RX-V757 receiver (2005 model)

Trying to connect new smart Samsung HDTV to 10-year-old receiver/stereo system

Best way would be to use the optical audio out of the TV to the receiver. The TV also has an analog audio out that you could use but the sound will not be as good.
