How do i find out if I still have vista on my laptop

Hello,
my friend put windows 7 on my laptop and all it needed was a boost? How do I find out if vista is still on there?

What brand is it? Depending on the brand and if you didn't get any disks with it, it should have a recovery partition on it. I'd stick with W7 over vista though.

I'm not really sure what you're asking. Do you want to reinstall Vista? Do you want to find out if there are any remnants of Vista on your machine?

If you see an error message on your screen, or if it's locked up completely...you have Vista.
