How do I find the IMEI number of my stolen laptop. I no longer have the packaging.

I need help finding my IMEI number, my laptop was stolem and i can't find any of my paperwork except my receipt. Can anyone assist?

Unfortunately, you may be out of luck. I doubt the receipt provides enough information for the manufacturer to try to match it to anything. Did you maybe keep any of the documentation where the IMEI or some other form of identifier might be found?

Laptops don't have IMEI numbers unless there was a SIM card attached to them. Unless you installed something like LoJack for laptops you may unfortunately be SOL.
