how do I get my channel selector to program my tv without cable

I am not sure how to program it after disconnecting cable I put on a Clear antenna connected correctly but all I get is snow. It is a Samsung 2012 , 27 inch screen and is not functioning at all except the snow. No sound either. I do have a dvd player connected to it but nothing else.

You will first need to make sure the TV is on the correct (antenna) input and then, somewhere in setup, should be an option for scanning for channels.
