Well, I downloaded a program to play the modded brutal doom, Called eZdoom, It worked fine and seemed to pose no threat to my computer neither now or then, However i ended up removing it since it liked to open itself each time my computer booted. So i uninstalled it, and deleted the leftover files. So now each time i boot up, I either get an install prompt from IE asking me to reinstall it, Or what i believe is an XML file trying to open up the creators dropbox page. While i doubt this is in any way harmful, Its incredibly annoying and i would like to know how to stop it. Ive tried changing my security settings in IE, Running my antivirus, Running my antimalware, And CCleaner. None of which have worked. I'm stumped. I cant find it anywhere on my computer, I would ask the creator of the program himself, but he has been unresponsive for something like 2 years now.

Oh, I've also opened Msconfig, And nothing in there about it either.

Hopefully someone know how to nix this, Please and thank you x.x

well, taking a few steps back, I'd like to ask a few other questions since exact nature of said pop-up is still unknown to me. (and i cannot seemingly reproduce it)
So here are the three possible culprits that I can think of:
http://i.imgur.com/C03LMnf.jpg (the setup.exe file you download the ezdoom with)

http://i.imgur.com/aWirc5O.jpg (The dropbox page giving link to said downloader above and a link to "launch it" if you have it already.

http://i.imgur.com/SPgHMVt.jpg (the xml link to launch the thing if you have it, if not or if scripts are blocked, thing looks a lot like xml file stuff)

possible other ways to check for "run on startup things:
C:\Users\<profile name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
Depending on windows version, task manager has some startup stuff listed on win8 and 8.1

If said xml file is being run from your computer, the address bar should indicate from where, if it is instead net address pointed to with .lnk (as in those startup/run things, it can be a normal internet address.

the regedit stuff that you should stay away from unless you know what you are doing deleting wrong things here can break things up:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

I Usually get the http://i.imgur.com/C03LMnf.jpg sometimes its the http://i.imgur.com/SPgHMVt.jpg, it seems kind of random as to which one i get when i boot up....i dont pretend to understand. Basically i had the program, uninstalled it, now i get one of those two things popping up each time i boot...i know it isnt much info to go on

*Update*, I did some digging, For whatever reason, chrome downloaded the setup.exe to a different folder and i was able to find it by going into my download history, i promptly deleted it and it would seem all is well now. No popup on boot. My searches were fruitless because it was simply named setup.exe, So you were right on the money, Thanks for your help ^.^
