How do i hook up dvd player to my samsung tv that has a dish cable box

My samsung flat screen is connected to a dish cable box. How do I hook my dvd player into all of that so all will work?? Im so confused!!!!

Well you barely provided enough information but...

These days everything is HDMI so hopefully cable box to HDMI-1, DVD to HDMI-2 etc-etc-etc-etc.

DISH box connects to the TV (usually HDMI).
DVD connects to the TV (option are HDMI, component video or composite video plus audio).
Depending on what inputs you have on the TV you might need to convert from one output to another. Without makes and model number of the DVD and TV we can't say.
