So I've already bought the Sims 4 for PC or MAC and I have a PC but the game is for my daughter and she has a Lenovo IdeaPad 100s laptop and it doesn't have a CD slot? Can someone please help me, thank you?

Yes, you will need to purchase an external DVD drive as suggested above. However, that means whenever your daughter wants to play the Sims 4 she will need the DVD drive to be connected with the Sims 4 DVD in it. It is a form of copy protection to ensure that the game is not an illegal copy.

If you have not opened the Sims 4 box yet, then I recommend you return the game for a refund. If the box has been opened then that is no longer an option. The reason why I suggest you return it is because EA (the publisher) allows you to purchase the game online in their Origins Store which means an external DVD drive is unnecessary; they even allow you to try the game for 48 hours (2 days) before you need to purchase it; "Get Trial" button. There...
You purchase an external optical drive such as this one:

P.S. Does this laptop have an Intel® Atom™ Z3735F Processor?
If so, it may not even be up to the task of running Sims 4 well.
Here are the supposed minimum requirements for the game, and it appears your lappy doesn't meet them:

The Lenovo IdeaPad 110s only has 32GB of eMMC storage (soldered into the motherboard). That is not a lot of storage space especially since Windows 10 probably uses around 18GB to 20GB of that space. Additionally, installing updates and patches will increase the amount of storage space Windows 10 itself will use. Therefore, I highly recommend you purchase a micro SD card to expand storage and anything that is installed on the laptop should be installed to the micro SD card. Up to 64GB capacity will be supported.

As for actually playing the Sims 4... the Lenovo IdeaPad 110s seems to be able to do so on low settings (1024 x 768 resolution with low pre-set graphics) based on the game benchmark results for the Sims 4 in the link below.
