Question I want to install windows 7 on my HP pavilion 11

It came with win 8.1 but want 7 instead on it. I am using a Liteon ebau108 external drive to load it but after initially loading via Windows install it stops and asks for cd/dvd Rom driver. The Liteon web site says it shouldn’t need one as its plug n play. Please helps Tech guys.

Does the system have Windows 7 drivers for it from HP? There are a bunch of Pavilion 11 models but don't see any with Win 7 drivers. The drive may be plug and play, but if the computer can't use the USB ports due to missing drivers to use those the drive is no good.
