Solved! How do I know if my iPhone is being tapped?

Hi All:

I'm new to the forum. I'm not really a techie. I'm an activist in a city, I suspect that is run by organized crime. I've done a number of articles on them, and now I suspect that my iPhone is being tapped or bugged.

Can someone direct me to articles or help on what to do? I've reached out to a number o friends, but no one knows how to help.
