Trying to resolve "low on memory" message on my Motorola G, by moving apps to the 16 GB SD card. Most apps have the "Move to SD Card" button "grayed out" (not functional).Have already moved most of the apps and media that could be moved. Please help. SteveC in Fla.

Apps pre-installed on your phone can't be moved to the SD card, because they need to stay on your phone even if you pull the SD.
Certain apps (I believe for a while ones that had widgets, but that might have changed) can be downloaded, but cannot be moved to the SD because they require certain features - don't know the exact details, sorry.
