Hi, I don't think you have a dvd drive in the laptop, what you could do for the driver of your scanner, you can go to the site of your scanner and download the driver or program or PDF file directly from there.

I'm not stopping you. I'm just suggesting there is a possibility of a dvd drive or not which is why I said check in device manager & the full model number as acer does not list e15 series as the highest e-series besides es1's is the e5 series.
