How do I print a web page correctly?

Is there a way to print a website exactly as you see it on the computer monitor? Say for example, www.yahoo.com. If I went to there and did a print preview, the image is very different than what I saw. Some clickable buttons become plain words. The background turns into plain white. I don't think this is a margin problem. I have tried resizing the page but it still shows the same effect.

Do a print screen, then paste it into a document and print that, will print out exactly what's on your monitor as a picture.

Many websites purposely present a simplified page when printing because it makes it easier to see the content.
