how do i program my rca tv with out a remote

We're trying to get our cable box onto our rca tv, but we can't bcuz we don't have a universal remote. Please help us....

Many cable box remotes can be programmed to operate some TV functions. Usually requires you to enter a code on the remote. Instructions are usually available from the cable company or box manufacturer.
If you are trying to get your TV to the input that the cable box is connected to there may be a control on the TV itself. On older TVs you could tune below channel 2 to get to the video inputs.
