How do I retrieve my email if it gets hacked?

Is there any way to retrieve an email account if it gets hacked and it's password gets changed?

I'm not sure yet, but I think this might have just happened to me.

if you can't login to your email. no.
contact the email provider to see if you can reclaim it.

with gmail, you can retrieve it -- as long as you can give correct answers to their questions. Not as easy as it sounds.

it works pretty much the same with other email services.

you need to contact the email provider in order to get this fixed however before you do this attempt to change the password of your email to make sure its not a password error
