Solved! How do I show my laptop screen on my monitor

Hello,
How do I get my laptop screen to show on my monitor. The monitor is connected and if I move my mouse to the right of my laptop screen then the mouse will appear on my monitor

You want your external monitor to be identical to your laptop screen?

You'd want to use the Duplicate setting in Display Properites.
Connect external monitor to Windows 7 laptop

3. By default, Windows 7 will duplicate laptop display on the external display. Press Win + P keys to toggle display type among: computer only, duplicate, extend and projector only.
