How Do I Transfer VHS-PC

If I took an RCA--USB plug would it transfer VHS-PC? I have established connection from analog tv-adapter-dvd before, using input ad output plugs. Could I do the same using USB being the output, using an RCA-USB plug, establish tv-pc connection? Using the RCA USB plug could I transfer my tapes to pc this way?

If you've used the same cables and setup to capture TV than it should work just fine to capture VHS via a VCR. The big thing is having software on your computer than can capture and record.
