Check your documentation, but what I do with my Inspiron 15 5559 is press Fn+PrtScr buttons. That toggles WiFi on and off (airplane mode). I have an icon on the lower right corner of my screen (near the time and date) I can click to see what connections are available where I am. There's further documentation for your specific model at the Dell web site.
