how do I upload a photo album onto my windows 8 computer that isn't my camera roll

I have got a lot of pictures in my camera roll and only want the ones from my holiday so I've put them into a separate album. when I got to upload them to my windows 8 laptop it uploads all my camera roll and Dosnt give me the option to select a different album. is there a way of doing this ?

What options do you see when you connect by a USB cable? You really need to see teh camera as a drive in Windows Explorer. Don't use the upload function - connect as a USB device and copy (or cut) then paste into a folder of your choice.
