Solved! how do you program the Element TY-49B remote to cable box?

My Frontier cable remote will not link up with the Element TV. So, I am just trying to figure out how to program the Element remote to control the cable box. Too many remotes aren’t good for Mom!

You can't because that remote is not capable of operating any other equipment. Get a Logitech Harmony remote. That is programmed from their online database.
