Its a referb but I think its a better CPU that the new laptops we can afford with the Celerons?

Its a decent laptop. Basically this looks like a off-lease laptop that a company bought in bulk. While the CPU is a bit older that shouldn't really affect performance. The screen res isnt that bad too, better than most. And this does have a video card with 512 MB VRAM so you should be able to at least run minecraft on medium settings. You may have to cut down the draw distance a bit so it doesn't chug but for what it is, its got a good value for your dollar.
