http://www.costco.com/HP-ENVY-17-Quad-Leap-Motion-Laptop-%7c-Intel-Core-i7-%7c-4GB-Graphics-%7c-Backlit-Keyboard-%7c-Home-%2526-Student-2013.product.100095362.html

I saw this deal at Costco. The 4GB graphics definitely seemed too good to be true (I e-mailed HP and have not yet received a response; Costco was e-mailed as well and replied that it was what HP told them to put up or something to those words). How does the rest of it look for the price? LEAP tech. certainly looks interested to me; even if it doesn't work well, it's a show-off piece of tech. really.
Thanks for any opinions. My real question is if it's worth the price point it's at.

I have the 17" version of that Fangbook, but with a GTX770m. It's brand new, but I'm impressed with the quality and performance. The only games I play Flight Sim 9 & 10, otherwise the GTX765 would have sufficed. The 4700MQ and HQ are both great CPUs. Enjoy whatever you buy.

In my opinion smaller is a lot better in college as battery is usually longer and it makes it more portable. I would recommend a maximum size of 15-16 inches based on my experience. For the specs it is relatively expensive and only has 1600 by 900 screen, not good for 17 inch.

Not so concerned about the size because I've been carrying around a heavy load for the past few years anyway :) I realize 17 inches is fairly large but I'm not worried about that; more worried about the specs vs price.

Absolutely do not buy HP/Compaq as they are some of the worst that anyone can buy as their machines are prone to board issues, even a Mac would do you better than HP and they don't need repairs as often.
