I know Huawei, Lenovo, ZOPO, THL, XiaoMi. Some of them have produced octa-core phones. Besides, ZOPO, THL OEM themselves. Do you know other famous cellphone brand in China ?

Oppo, Goophone, ZTE, plus probably a pile of others. Taiwan calls itself the Republic of China, so HTC might count. Apple could arguably count, depending on how you want to do the definitions - built by Foxconn and someone else I can't remember.
