How much should I sell my laptop for?

I want to build a gaming PC. I need around 800 for the PC I want to build.

Processor: 2.8GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 8GB

Webcam: Yes
Optical drive: DVD-RW (DL)
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000
Ports: 1 x USB 2.0, 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x HDMI

* I know that I wont get $800 but can I get 500-600?

I sold my 7 year old laptop with Intel core 2 duo, 4GB DDr2, Mobility radeon x2300, 14" 1280x800, etc. For $200 on Craigs. I think $400 is a fair price for yours

So I'm guessing that is a 1st or 2nd gen Core i7? Since it's really old, used, and has no dedicated graphics, I'd say it's worth around $250-$300 if you can find someone willing to buy it.

Used laptops are a pretty poor market.

Is a 2nd generation Core i7.

2nd gen intel core i7 is sandy bridge OP just start off selling at $500 and if it doesn't sell as quickly as you like, reduce the price. I think at 400$-500$ it will get picked up pretty quickly, depending on how you sell it. Good luck

hmm you are right, it is a sandy. i had no idea sandy had 3000 series gpus

i thought sandy was 2000
ivy was 3000
and broadwell is 4000

seems im mistaken thinking sandy was only 2000. sandy in a mobile... hmm could be worth less.
