How much will AMD Radeon R5 M230 2GB differ from the Nvidia Geforce 820m 2GB?

I am planning to buy a new laptop. I have decided to buy either Lenovo G50-70 59-443034 or the Lenovo Z50-70 59-442262. The G50-70 has a 2.4 GHz Intel i5 processor with Turbo Boost upto 2.9 GHz and the Z50-70 has a 1.7 GHz Intel i5 processor with Turbo Boost Upto 2.7 GHz. The G50-70 possess an AMD Radeon R5 M230 2GB whereas the Z50-70 has an Nvidia Geforce 820m 2GB. But all other specs are the same except the fact that the Z50-70 has a Full HD screen whereas the G50-70 doesnot. I dont actually bother about it that much. All I need is some good performance for some games released in or before 2013 and probably for some good programming since I an going to be an engineering student soon. So which will be the ideal laptop for me?

GO FOR Z50-70 CAUSE IT WILL HAVE LESS HEATING ISSUE AND GEFORCE 820M IS GOOD FOR GAMING BUT FOR ENGEERINGE U SHOULD ALWAYS GO FOR NVIDIA WITH EYES CLOSED.SO U SHOULD GO FR Z50-70

The NVidia chip is considerably more capable than the R5. A 900M series GPU would be better if you can get your hands on a system with that that's within your budget.
