How to add a aux input to a home stereo

Hello,
I have a Quasar CR19 at home and i would like to add an aux port on the stereo to listen to my mp3 player. I would like to do as little cosmetic changes as possible but i am willing to do what i have to do in order to achieve my goal

Do you have free inputs on the back? Can't find a manual for that thing online, post a picture of the back. You should be able to just get a stereo plug to 3.5mm plug converter and a cable to plug in the player to.

My stereo has both aux input and aux output and the back. It also has a button for aux in at the front but when i put in an aux lead to aux in it does not play my music. Any reason why this does not work ?
