how to add separate powered subwoofer while using focal XS

FYI: Focal XS uses USB output only to send audio to the speakers as it has it's own DAC.

Current setup: Computer via USB port to Focal XS

Would like to get more bass adding a powered subwoofer as Focal XS sub is not that great.

Was thinking to do:

Get a USB Y splitter so original setup is kept but also sends audio to powered sub using a USB to RCA cable?

Would this work? If so which USB Y splitter would work as some only transmits data or charges only. Thank you!

Nope. Can't split digital like that. Even if u can, am not aware stand-along digital sub exist, u will have to add an external DAC, just for the sub, and THEN to do it properly a crossover should exist to split high to Focal and Low to Sub, where are u gonna put that crossover?

Get a new true 2.1 set, even if u have to skip few lunches.
