First and foremost, you will need to play the game enough to collect coins and buy power-ups.
1. Open the game by tapping on the ‘Temple Run 2’ icon on your device.
2. In the game, tap on ‘Menu’.
3. Tap on ‘Upgrades’
4. Swipe left or right to select the character to give a power-up.
5. On the upper left corner of the character’s picture, you will see the ‘power-ups’ option
6. Tap on the ‘power-ups’ button to get to the powers-ups menu
7. Tap on any ‘power-up’ of your choice to unlock it. For unlocking specific power-ups you may need to have a certain rank or enough coins.
8. You will see a confirmation message on the screen. Tap on ‘OK’ to get back to playing the game, this time with a bit of an advantage.
