How to bring samsung galaxy3 verizon contract to unlock and get straighttalk

I have a samsung galaxy 3 sch1535 4.1.2 1535vrbmf1 hardware version 1535.10 I just bought it from my friend that had verizon contract but doesn't have anymore. Is it possible to unlock it and bring it to straightalk it does have a verizon SIM card in it. If not then can u suggest a carrier that it does go with.

Straight talk might not be available to CDMA phones which is what a Verizon phone is , you should go to a Verizon store and ask what they have that is similar to straight talk.
