How do i check my PC for spyware? Lately there has been a lot of pop-ups on my pc asking about secutity certificates and such.. There's also a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark on my OneDrive in the hidden icons which i don't recall being there before.

I only use Windows Defender, i've had bad experiences with other antivirus programs in the past.

ok,well windows defender is not all that great, but start by running a scan and see if it picks up anything.then download and run a scan with adwcleaner.delete anything it comes up with and post the log.also post the windows defender log.then download and run a scan with junkware removal tool and delete anything it comes up with.post the log from this scan as well.finally run a scan with malwarebytes and delete anything it comes up with and post the log.as far as avs go i recommend avast.

LOL.. don't get your knickers in a twist.. you need to know the difference between real threats and spurious stuff..
All/Many malware detectors kick off alerts for very mild stuff... they want to convince you they doing a good job.
"tracking cookies" I put in this category.. They VERY mild .. they just track what you doing.. so thinks like facebook and others can target Ads etc.. yes its malware.. but really very mild.

If that's all you had.. don't be to harsh on defender.. If you had REAL Malware.. then you can be as harsh as you like

Cheers
