How to configure RAID 5 in Dell PowerEdge RS240 Rack Server.

I want to also install windows server 2016 in RAID5

RAID5 is safe for OS ?

Installing OS on RAID5 array is not the best idea. Get a standalone SATA Drive (who said SSD?), install windows, then install raid controller' utilities to configure your storage. If you'll use this server for anything else bug testing, make sure you provide adequate backup solution as well.

You can, but again - installing Windows on RAID is not the best idea (it does not matter TAID level). Why?
- RAID arrays are defined either before BOOT, by entering special keyboard sequence during BOOT, or using special utility;
- you will most probably need a driver disk during Windows installation;
- repairing such installation will be even more difficult;
- you don't need 600GB space for Windows install. Yes, having your system drive mirrored is not a bad idea, but there are other ways to maintain your system.
